(ĐN)- During the past eight months of the year, Dong Nai provincial Elderly People Association and its agencies raised more than VND18 billion to take care of the elderly and help them lead a long healthy and happy life.
Particularly, the association presented over VND18 billion, built 59 charity houses and repaired 26 others, provided free medical check-ups and surgeries to some 3,000 elderly people with eye-related diseases, sent delegations to congratulate 100 year-old people on their longevity, organized tours for 440 elders to visit the tourist areas inside and outside the province.
