The scholarships worth VND5 million each are funded by Cuong Thuan Idico Development Investment Corporation.

On this occasion, the commission presented scholarships each valued at VND1 million to 70 primary to high school students in the districts of Vinh Cuu, Cam My and Long Thanh. The scholarships are financed by Thien Ha company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of Commission for Communications and Education Huynh Van Toi said that the scholarships are a great source of encouragement for those students to overcome difficulties and excel at study.

Over the past five years, the commission and sponsors have granted scholarships to nearly 350 students, especially those struggling with difficulties in life. Many of them graduated from universities and got stable jobs. In the coming time, the commission will continue efforts to share difficulties with disadvantaged students, help them pursue study and become useful citizens for society.
