(ĐN)- On August 3, Dong Nai Police Department, the provincial Military Headquarters and Fire Fighting and Prevention Police held a ceremony to review the implementation of the “All people protect national security” movement in An Phuoc and Tam An communes from July 31 to August 2.

According to the organizing board, the movement raised more than VND1 billion to build 10 great unity houses, present 400 gifts for policy families and poor workers and locals, give 20 scholarships and 70 bicycles to disadvantaged students, provide free medical check-ups and medicines to 880 needy patients, hand VND415 million loans to 16 people who are released prisoners.

The armed forces also helped local people to upgrade 3 km of rural roads and clear drains. The movement is expected to boost solidarity between the armed forces and people, contributing to building new rural areas.
