(ĐN)- Cargill Cares charity fund has raised VND9 billion for the disadvantaged at its recent charity festival held at Military Zone 7’s stadium in Ho Chi Minh city.
After 18 years of operation, the fund of Cargill Vietnam Co Ltd has raised over VND70 billion which has been used to build schools, award scholarships to studious poor students, and support flood victims throughout the country.
In 2013 alone, Cargill has helped build seven schools costing total VND7.7 billion in some central and southcentral provinces.
The company targets to build 75 schools nationwide by 2015.
