(ĐN)- The provincial Former Political Prisoners Liaison Board on June 30 issued a statement vehemently opposing China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang Shiyou-981 in Vietnam’s continental shelf and exclusive economic zone.
On this occasion, members of the provincial Former Political Prisoners Liaison Board and Proceeding the Tradition Club donated nearly VND73 million to support marine police force.
The money will be presented to Zone 2’s Marine Police Force at the death anniversary of nearly 20,000 soldiers who had sacrificed their lives at Con Dao prison, which will take place on July 16.
