Over the past five years, Dong Nai Fatherland Front has made efforts to implement its tasks regarding socio-economic affairs, national defence, security and external relations. Accordingly, the Front and its chapters have launched campaigns in support of poor households and policy beneficiaries. Such moves have helped strengthen public trust in local authorities.
The movement "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle" has drawn a great deal of attention from local people. So far, 97 percent of all households have received the ‘Cultural Family’ title.
The campaign “Day for the Poor” has raised VND781 billion to help difficult families develop household economy, award scholarships to disadvantaged students and provide free healthcare and treatment to poor patients.
Especially, Fund for the Poor also mobilized VND179 billion to build 5,144 charity houses and 900 gratitude houses.

The Front has provided VND19 billion from its relief fund to assist flood victims in central and south-central provinces, donated more than VND3.6 billion to Japanese tsunami victims, built schools for oversea Vietnamese in Cambodia, offered free medical check-ups and medicine to people in Laos’ Champasak province.
In this period, the front has implemented a strategy to reinforce national unity and improve the supervision of social policies, promote the role of religions and ethnic groups, spread patriotic campaigns across the province and engage more with public opinions and the aspirations of citizens, and collect public feedback on State policies and guidelines.
