In this period, the Fund raised more than VND300 million from organizations and individuals across the province to assist local poor children.
Tan Phu district’s Women’s Union has recently presented 300 gifts totaling VND150 million to local poor students.
Earlier, the Union raised VND10 million to help a disadvantaged person, mobilized 18 scholarships worth each VND300,000 for studious poor students, and 1,500 notebooks for 75 poor students in Phu Loc and Phu Thanh communes.
