(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Children’s House on June 20 handed over VND60 million, funded by its staff, students and their parents, to the program “Contributing to defend Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty” launched by Dong Nai Newspaper.

On behalf of the organizing board, Deputy Editor-in-Chief La Xuan Phu expressed his thanks to the Children’s House for supporting the program and praised the kind-hearted act toward the naval officers and soldiers safeguarding national sovereignty at Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone.
Earlier, on June 19, Long Thanh district-based Indochine Vietnam Company donated VND50 million to the program.

The money was raised from nearly 400 employees of the company. Indochine Vietnam is an Indian-invested company which specializes in manufacturing garment products for export.
Editor-in-Chief Tran Huy Thanh expressed his thanks to the company for supporting the program and pledged that the money will be sent to naval soldiers at the soonest.
