(ĐN)- The organising board of the East Travel Award recently donated 1,244 books and 2 computers worth VND 80 million to Thong Nhat B high school in Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province.
On this occasion, the organising board has granted 35 scholarships, each valued at VND 1 million, to studious poor students from junior and senior high schools across the province. The scholarships aim to light up the spirit of poor yet studious students on their path to school and a bright life.
The East Travel Award, sponsored by Vina Kyoei Steel Ltd. Company and the Career Development Community Motibee, is launched in the South East region and the Mekong Delta from July, 2010 to May 2011.
