(ĐN)- Dong Nai is now home to more than VND13,000 AO victims, including over 2,000 people under sixteen years old, said Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial AO/dioxin Victims’ Association Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hanh.
Over the past three years, the association raised nearly VND9.2 billion to help AO victims across the province. Particularly, the association built 94 houses worth over VND1.8 billion for the victims, provided more than 300 scholarships to their children, offered financial support totaling approximately VND1 billion for the beneficiaries, helping them develop production and stabilize their life.
Chairman of Dong Nai AO/Dioxin Victims’ Association Vo Minh Quang said that the association will continue its efforts to take care of the victims, raise more fund for AO victims to help them to overcome difficulties.
