(ĐN)- To mark the 8th Vietnam Poetry Day, the Dong Nai Writers’ Association in coordination with the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organised a Poem Night at Bien Hung Park in Bien Hoa city on February 28.
(ĐN)- Since its debut on Nguyen Tieu day (the 15th day of the first lunar month) in 2003, Vietnamese Poetry Day has become a national tradition in the early spring of each new year. To mark the 8th Vietnam Poetry Day, the Dong Nai Writers’ Association in coordination with the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organised a Poem Night at Bien Hung Park in Bien Hoa city on February 28. Also attending the event were Chairwoman of the provincial Front Fatherland Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

Major activities were held during the festival such as reciting and discussing poems, organising quiz contest, calligraphy contest, portrait sketches and others. This year’s event attracted the participation of a large number of Poetry clubs across the province.
