Dong Nai Wins First Prize for Team Competition at 2009 Southeastern Region Art Photo Contest

(ĐN)- The 2009 Southeastern region art photo contest entitled “Cac tinh mien Dong thoi hoi nhap” (Development of the Southeastern provinces in the integration time) attracted 1,189 works of 169 photographers from eight southeastern provinces, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan.

(ĐN)- The 2009 Southeastern region art photo contest entitled “Cac tinh mien Dong thoi hoi nhap” (Development of the Southeastern provinces in the integration time) attracted 1,189 works of 169 photographers from eight southeastern provinces, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan. Binh Duong province hosted this year’s contest which was launched on August 11 by the Vietnam Artistic Photographers Association.

A photo entitled “Nang luong sach” (Clean Energy) taken by photographer Vu Ngoc Lam from Binh Thuan won the first prize. Three second prizes were awarded to a photo “Nong thon doi moi” (rural areas of Vietnam in its renewal process) by Nguyen Van Mien from Binh Thuan, a photo “Ngay Vui” (Happy day) by Pham Quoc Hung from Dong Nai and one “Xuan da ve” (the Spring coming) by Nguyen Van Thuong from Lam Dong. 5 photographers received third prizes, out of whom, 3 were from Dong Nai including Lam Con, Hoang The Phuc and Nguyen Long. In addition, the consolidation prizes were given to 7 photographers, of whom, one was named Nguyen An from Dong Nai.

 Dong Nai also bagged the first prize for team with the highest number of prizes won at the contest and the highest number of photos selected to exhibition.
