(ĐN)- Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga has just had a working session with Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on the implementation of Government Resolution No 01/NQ-CP and socio-economic development tasks in the first ten months.
At the working session, the department reviewed its activities over the past ten months; accordingly, it has fulfilled and surpassed the set targets; particularly, the department solved jobs for more than 80,000 laborers, achieving 94.1% of the year’s plan; provided vocational training to 55,900 people, making up 100.7%; reduced the urban unemployment rate to 2.7%; increased the labor-using time in the countryside to 88%.
Speaking at the session, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga suggested the department continue efforts to help poor households, build and repair gratitude houses, etc.
