During the one-month campaign from July 15 to August 15, volunteers participated in various activities such as anti-illiteracy work, improving the environment and assisting people in rural areas.
Besides this, they also donated nearly 100 bicycles, 11,000 notebooks and 2,250 presents for students in remote and deep-lying areas.
On the occasion, 24 units received certificates of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee for their contributions to the 2009 Green Summer Campaign and 12 other units were presented with emulation flags by the Provincial Youth Union.
