Dong Nai reports 66th A/H1N1 case

(ĐN)- A new case of A(H1N1) virus was confirmed Wednesday in Dong Nai, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 66, according to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Centre.

(ĐN)- A new case of A(H1N1) virus was confirmed Wednesday in Dong Nai, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 66, according to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Centre. The latest case involved Bien Hoa city’s an 8^th grade boy who is studying at the International School Ho Chi Minh City. He is currently quarantined at Vietnam-France Hospital in Ho Chi Minh city. Thanks to tight quarantines and good medical care, 55 patients have recovered and were released from hospital after testing negative for the virus. The remaining 11 cases are still being isolated and receiving medical treatment.  All are reported to be in stable condition.

Currently, the Influenza A (H1N1) has spread to 6 districts, 18 communes, wards and towns around the province. Dong Nai is the second hardest-hit area after Ho Chi Minh city.
