A new primary school will be built in the southern province of Dong Nai on 7,600sq.m of the land donated by a local family.

Nguyen Van Binh, an official from the local People’s Committee, said the family of Dinh Thi Thuy Hang granted the land with the hope that local children would no longer have to cross a dangerous highway to go to school.
There was only one primary school in the area, and to reach it, most students must cross National Highway 1, said Binh.
The value of the donated land was estimated at more than VND1 billion (US$55,600).
