(ĐN)- On July 20, Thong Nhat district sent a delegation to visit and present gifts for war invalids, sick soldiers and Vietnamese heroic mothers in the locality on the occasion of the 62th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).
Thong Nhat now is home to more than 500 war invalids, policy families and 3 Vietnamese heroic mothers. Over the past years, the district has actively taken part in the “Paying debt of gratitude” movement to support social policy beneficiaries. Accordingly, it has made many efforts to improve the living conditions of war invalids, relatives of war martyrs and those who rendered great services to the nation.
