(ĐN)- Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang had a working session with the provincial Steering Committee on Population and Housing Census on March 31.
At the working session, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh praised efforts made by Trang Bom, Nhon Trach Xuan Loc, Tan Phu, Dinh Quan districts in preparing for the national population and housing census.
“The census is a key task of the entire party and people, so all forces need to focus on successfully completing the census; accordingly, it’s necessary to conduct an information campaign to help local people understand the importance of the census,” he stressed.
He said all people should co-operate with census takers to make sure the correct information was collected.
He also asked the mass media and press agencies to help raise the people’s awareness of the important significance and requirements of the census and provide accurate and full information to census enumerators.
