In 2008, the association received donations worth VND1.36 billion, including VND800 million in cash and VND560 million in goods, from individuals and organizations inside and outside the province to help the poor. Accordingly, the association built 13 charity houses, offered free health check-ups and medicine to over 1,000 poor people, presented more than 1,200 gifts, provided free meals for poor patients and their relatives.
