(ĐN)- More than VND215 billion or US$12.1 million was raised at the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Friendship Charity Golf Tournament, held at the Long Thanh Golf Club in Dong Nai province on March 28.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, former Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Manh Cam said that the tournament not only aimed to raise fund for the poor but also to consolidate friendship relation among the three countries Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
The proceeds will be used to provide free eye surgeries for poor people, build gratitude houses, help poor households and policy families in three countries.
