(ĐN)- Nhon Trach district’s Study Encouragement Association in coordination with Office of Education and Training launched a program to raise money for study encouragement fund by mobilizing locals to put money in their clay pigs. (The Vietnamese have a tradition of saving money by putting it into a clay pig). The clay pigs will be sent to the district’s Study Encouragement Association and all the proceeds will be used to help poor pupils continue their studies and award scholarships to outstanding students, etc.
After one month of launching, the study encouragement associations at all levels registered to raise nearly 5,000 clay pigs. According to plan, a festival day of clay big beating will be held on
