(ĐN)- On the occasion of Vietnam Family Day (June 28), Dong Nai province Labour Union organised a meeting yesterday to honour 106 typical families of women workers and state employees in the period 2003-2006.

At the same time, an exchange program among family clubs in the province was also held by the provincial Committee for Population, Family and Children in cooperation with Department of Culture and Information, Labour Union, Woman Union and the province’s Farmers’ Association. Accordingly, the competitions of cooking skill and knowledge were organised with the participation of 18 clubs. As a result, the family club in Binh Da ward won the first prize.
On this occasion, Bien Hoa city held an exchange meeting with exemplary families in Thanh Binh, Trung Dung and Binh Da wards. At the exchange meeting, the families shared experiences in educating the children, maintaining a happy family, and building a cultural lifestyle in the residential areas. With the theme “For a family without violence”, the families exchanged knowledge on family violence prevention, building a family with few children.
