Dong Nai mobilizing to contribute a workday pay to the province’s Sponsor Fund for Children

(ĐN)- “Action month for children”, presided over by the provincial Committee of Population, Family and Children in coordinate with other related organizations in the local, will take place from May 15 to June 15, 2006. The main activities in the month include preventing children from leaving their home, taking the necessary measures to protect children from sexual abuse and labour exploitation, etc. Besides, the activities for children’s rights will be also implemented such as commending children in difficult circumstance who had achieved excellent study results and providing various interesting entertainment activities for them, evaluating the implementation of granting free-of-charge health care cards for children under one, etc. In addition, the provincial Committee of Population, Family and Children will mobilize local officers, civil servants and others to contribute a workday pay to the province’s Sponsor Fund for Children.

On the occasion of “ Vietnam Family Day”, June 28, the provincial Committee of Population, Family and Children will hold a meeting to evaluate the program’s implementation in the past five years. Accordingly, the families who educate their children to be good citizens will be invited to attend the meeting. Moreover, the families who are happy families and doing business well will be also commended on this occasion.
