(ĐN)- August 2, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples’ Committee Huynh Van Toi presided over the meeting to discuss further details for launching the humanitarian program of free eye surgery in Dong Nai.

This operation is an important part of poverty eradication program as launched by the provincial government. Since the beginning of 2005 until now, most of the districts throughout Dong Nai such as Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Nhon Trach, Long Thanh and Cam My has completed the plan for providing free eye surgery to poor people according to the guideline of the Provincial Peoples’ Committee while the remain areas are under implementation.
At the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Toi urged authorities and organizations at all levels in the areas under implementation of programme to bring light to poor blind people to complete not later than at the end of August this year.
