From the moment the plan to establish Dong Nai City was announced, the City Youth Union launched a peak communication campaign across its media platforms to raise awareness and build consensus among Youth Union members and young people as well as people from all social strata regarding this policy. During meetings, youth activities, and especially on social media, youth union organizations intensified communication about the significance, opportunities, and strategic advantages of Dong Nai becoming a city, as well as information regarding the upgrading of 10 communes into wards.

After the National Assembly officially approved the resolution establishing Dong Nai City effective from April 30, 2026, the City Youth Union continued its communication campaign under the theme “Proud of Dong Nai – My City.” The campaign runs from April 30 until the announcement ceremony of the establishment of Dong Nai city.

.In response to this campaign, social media pages of the Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization from the city to the grassroots levels changed their profile pictures and cover photos to celebrate Dong Nai city, and shared communication products. The City Youth Union also organized an online quiz contest "Proud Dong Nai - My City" for cadres, Youth Union members, association members, youth, teenagers, children, and interested people from all walks of life. At the same time, it launched the "Dong Nai City Citizen Passport" product and encouraged Youth Union members and young people to post reviews about the "Dong Nai City Citizen Passport" on their personal social media pages to spread the pride of the youth in the event of Dong Nai city.

Pioneering in action

The goal that Dong Nai is aiming for is to build a dynamic, creative, civilized, modern, and compassionate city. To realize this goal, in addition to awareness, young people are required to take pioneering action starting today. Evidence of the pioneering spirit and action of the Youth Union chapters at all levels as well as Youth Union members and young people is the projects and youth activities celebrating Dong Nai city.

Do Hoang Khanh Hung, Secretary of Buu Long residential area Youth Union branch, Head of Emulation Cluster No. 1 under Tran Bien Ward Youth Union, said that before the 51st anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026), units within the cluster implemented an infographic project celebrating the 51st anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day and the establishment of Dong Nai City.

Accordingly, using IT skills, officials, youth union members and young people in the cluster personally designed an infographic celebrating the 51st anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day, and welcoming the event of Dong Nai City. The infographic includes a QR code integrating the content of the National Assembly's resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City. This product has been displayed by Emulation Cluster No. 1 along the main road and presented to the Party cells of the residential areas within the emulation cluster to be displayed in front of the residential office for propaganda purposes.

In addition, Emulation Cluster No. 1 implemented the project of a National Flag Road along Huynh Van Nghe street, passing through 5 residential areas: Binh Thanh, Tan Lai, Tan Buu, Tan Thanh, and Buu Long. "The National Flag Road is not only a decorative project but also a vivid symbol of patriotism, community awareness, and the aspirations of youth union members and young people in building a prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Dong Nai City," said Hung.

As Dong Nai enters a pivotal development stage, the city’s youth must demonstrate the highest political determination, becoming more proactive, courageous, and creative in mastering their homeland’s development story.
