Voter turnout in Dong Nai reaches 99.62% by the close of polls on March 15

By the end of March 15, Dong Nai had 2,982,535 voters participating in the election, reaching 99.62% of the total electorate of 2,993,861 voters, according to a quick report from the Provincial Election Committee on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

As of the reporting time, all 95 communes and wards across the province had recorded voter turnout of over 50%, with the lowest rate at 96.84%, and the highest at 100%. Compared to 7pm, the number of voters hitting the polls increased by more than 110 thousand, indicating that the voting process was smooth and well-maintained at all polling stations.

According to observations, the atmosphere of the election day in the province was vibrant and exciting. Voters at polling stations participated in the election with a joyful and responsible spirit. All conditions for the election day were ensured; traffic in the area was smooth, while communication and telecommunication systems remained stable, facilitating voters' participation.

The work of ensuring political security and social order and safety was seriously implemented by local authorities. Functional forces were deployed at polling teams and voting areas to ensure security as well as fire prevention and firefighting. As of the reporting time, the security and order situation in the province was stable; many voters highly appreciated the election preparation work of all levels and sectors and actively exercised their right to vote to elect worthy representatives who embody the will and aspirations of the people.
