Dong Nai kicks off Youth Month 2026

On the morning of March 1, at the Thanh Son Commune Culture, Sports and Community Learning Center, the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union officially launched "Youth Month 2026."

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Phan The Cong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Federation, emphasized: Youth Month is a major political activity, an opportunity for Dong Nai youth to clearly demonstrate their role, responsibility, and aspiration to contribute to the new development requirements of the province and the country.

Accordingly, from March 1 to 31, the Provincial Youth Union will focus on implementing 12 targets and youth projects. Among these, political and ideological propaganda and education for Youth Union members and youth (YUMY) is considered the foundation of all actions. During Youth Month, 100% of cadres and Youth Union members are expected to study and thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, State laws, and resolutions of the Party and the Youth Union.

In addition, Youth Union chapters at all levels will organize activities to promote the pioneering and voluntary role of YUMY through projects and tasks associated with building advanced new-style rural areas, civilized urban areas, caring for disadvantaged children, supporting vulnerable youth, and helping rehabilitated youth reintegrate into the community.

Youth Union organizations at all levels will continue to consolidate and effectively promote community digital technology teams; strongly implement the Digital Literacy for All movement; support people in using online public services and cashless payments; and strive for 50% of youth to use electronic payment accounts and online public services.

Regarding the work of building Youth Union organizations and the Youth Union participating in Party building, during Youth Month, Youth Union chapters at all levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of Youth Union activities in a practical and effective direction, associated with digital transformation; strive to foster and develop more than 10,000 new Youth Union members; and introduce 2,500 outstanding Youth Union members for the Party to consider admitting.

To achieve the targets set for Youth Month, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Phan The Cong called on Youth Union chapters at all levels and YUMY to make Youth Month a month of practical action through specific projects and tasks, contributing to making a mark during Youth Month and successfully implementing the development goals of Dong Nai province in the new period.

At the launch ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union mobilized and presented 70 gifts to policy families, YUMY, and students in difficult circumstances; launched volunteer teams for the community, supported the election of deputies to National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, supported digital transformation, international integration, and accompanied youth in establishing themselves and their careers.

After the launch ceremony, various activities took place: medical examination, free medicine distribution, and gift giving to 100 Thanh Son commune residents; free haircuts; exchanging waste for gifts; environmental sanitation; propaganda for the election of deputies to National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; visiting and giving gifts to policy beneficiary families; visiting youth startup models in Thanh Son commune.
