Permanent Chairman of Japan-Vietnam Economic Forum visits Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai recently hosted Mr. Bunshichi Fujioka, Permanent Chairman of the Japan-Vietnam Economic Forum who is on his working visit to Vietnam in effort to accelerate the construction of a scientific park in Vietnam.

At the meeting with the provincial leader, Mr. Bunshichi Fujioka expressed his wish to seek investment opportunities in the Bio-technology Application Research Center project in Dong Nai.

 

On behalf of the hosts, Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Sang introduced the guest of the province’s policies on investment encouragement as well as the conditions, location and and relative convenience of the Bio-technology Application Research Center project.

 

Mr. Bunshichi Fujioka said Japan wants to invest 500-600 billion yen in a scientific park in Vietnam, covering an area of 400 hectares to 500 hectares. The project will include education and training institutes and advanced and modern scientific research facilities within a friendly living environment.

 

According to Fujioka, the area could meet the developmental demands of Vietnam and was also a symbol of the Vietnam – Japan cooperation.

 

Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai applauded Mr. Bunshichi Fujiokas visit and saying the provincial government always gives priority to investment projects in high-tech field like Japan’s scientific park project.
