(ĐN)- On June 16, Dong Nai Newspaper organized a ceremony to review its 65-year history and celebrate 35th founding anniversary.

(ĐN)- On June 16, Dong Nai Newspaper organized a ceremony to review its 65-year history and celebrate 35th founding anniversary. The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Bui Ngoc Thanh, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association Pham Quoc Toan.

At the ceremony, Editor-In-Chief of the newspaper Tran Huy Thanh reviewed the history of the newspaper and its achievements over the last 35 years since its founding in 1976. Accordingly,  Dong Nai Newspaper has made incessant efforts to improve its quality both in form and content; it now publishes four issues per week with a circulation of more than 10,000 copies.

 

Addressing at the ceremony, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai praised the contributions made by the newspaper to the cause of industrialization and modernization as well as promotion of the local economic development during the past years. He also stressed that the newspaper’s journalists should continue their efforts to improve their professional skills in order to meet the public’s increasing demand.

 

On this occasion, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee honored 11 individuals for their active contributions to  the development of the newspaper over the past 30 years.
