(ĐN)- A five-ton wild elephant escaped from Tan Phu Afforestation Yard and wandered into the residential area of hamlet 3, Dinh Quan district’s Phu Loi commune, Dong Nai province on Wednesday evening. Then, the elephant moved to into the neighboring area of Phu Hoa commune.

The elephant suddenly appeared in Dinh Quan district, attracted a large number of curious people. Crowd noise and screaming made the elephant angry. The animal destroyed a house and a pigsty of local residents before returning to the forest.
