Witnesses said the fire broke out at around 5.30 p.m after an explosion at the workshop of Chau Au (Europe) Bath Manufacturing Company Limited.
Dong Nai province’s fire brigade reported that 5 fire engines and nearly 20 fire fighters were sent to the blaze, which took over one hour to control. Hot and dry weather coupled with strong wind made it hard for fire fighters to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
