(ĐN) – The 9th Provincial Party Congress concluded in Dong Nai on Sept. 25 after three days’ sitting with a big success.
(ĐN) – The 9th Provincial Party Congress concluded in Dong Nai on Sept. 25 after three days’ sitting with a big success. The congress elected 13 members to the executive board of the Provincial Party committee for 2010-15 tenure. Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh was re-elected as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Hong Phuong was also re-elected into the standing board of the Provincial Party Committee and served as deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai was elected as deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
The congress defined overall goals for the province in the 2010-2015 period: continue to raise the leadership and combative capacity of the Provincial Party Committee; promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; develop the province’s economy in a fast and sustainable manner; further improve the living conditions of local people; maintain socio-political stability; speed up the industrialization and modernization process of the province in combination with environmental protection and provide a foundation to basically turn Dong Nai into a modern industrial province by 2015.

Mr. Thanh also called on the whole Party and people of Dong Nai province to bring into play the obtained achievements, overcome difficulties, strengthen unity and exert efforts to fulfill the targets set by the 9th Provincial Party Congress.
