Thus, Vinacafe Bien Hoa has retained its position as Vietnam’s leading coffee producer. During the past years, the company recorded an annual growth rate of 20-25 per cent which included a 20-30 per cent increase in exports annually.

Vinacafe Bien Hoa posted over VND 1 trillion in 2009 revenues. The company brought in VND 797 billion in revenue in the first eight months of this year, up 26 percent over the same period last year. During the same period, it reported an after-tax profit of VND103 billion, a 27 per cent year-on-year increase, contributed VND 63.8 billion to State Budget, a 23 percent increase year-over-year.
The company plans to start construction of a third coffee plant in Long Thanh Industrial Zone in Dong Nai in late 2010 with an expected output of 3,200 tons of instant coffee per year, Director-General of Vinacafe Bien Hoa Pham Quang Vu said.
