Nhon Trach district praises studious poor students

(ĐN)- On Sept 16, Nhon Trach district’s Fatherland Front Committee in cooperation with Study Promotion Association organized a ceremony to award scholarships to poor students with high acadamic results in the school year of 2009-2010.

At the ceremony, VND263 million in scholarships was awarded to 384 students at all levels in 12 communes across the district. 13 students, who has just passed university entrance exams, each received a VND1 million scholarship. Moreover, the organizers offered 13 scholarships each presented 100 bicycles and 300 shoes to students.

On this occasion, Dong Nai provincial AO/dioxin Victims Association presented 14 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to students who are children of AO/dioxin victims in Nhon Trach district.
