The Dariu Foundation awards scholarships to poor students

(ĐN)- The Dariu Foundation (TDF), Swiss non-government organization,has recently presented 600 scholarships to disadvantaged children in Dong Nai province’s Tan Phu district. Each scholarship included textbook, pens, books, uniform materials, etc.

Dariu Foundation presents bicycles to poor students in Tan Phu district

On this occasion, TDF also gave 33 bicycles to the poorest students whose houses are more than five kilometers far from their schools; many of them have to walk to school with a distance of over 10 km from home to school.

The total value of the scholarships and bicycles is nearly VND300 million.

The Dariu Foundation has been operating in Vietnam since 2002, with the programs of microfinance, providing scholarships to poor students, building schools and other projects. TDF is now providing microfinance services to over 12,000 member families in Dong Nai and Vinh Long provinces.
