On July 23, Dong Nai Police Department sent a delegation to provide free medical check-ups and medicines and present 300 gifts to policy families and the poor in Ngoc Dinh commune, Dinh Quan district. On this occasion, the delegation also awarded 20 scholarships valued at VND 500,000 each and gave 120 gifts to outstanding poor students in the locality. The total expenditure of this program was VND 84 million contributed by police officers, soldiers and other donors.
Nearly 20 officials and soldiers from the Army unit in Bien Hoa city has cooperated with militia of Hiep Hoa commune to help local people to clean up the environment. They also visited and gave VND300,000 to Le Thi Nhan, mother of martyr Le Van Chau, living in Tam Hoa hamlet. On this occasion, officials and soldiers from Bien Hoa city’s army unit offered free health check-ups and medicines to policy beneficiaries in some wards and communes of Bien Hoa city with total cost of tens of millions of dong.
Also on July 23, the Party Committee, the People’s Council and the People’s Committee of Xuan Loc district sent 25 delegations to visit and present gifts to 150 policy families in the locality. In addition, local authorities mobilized individuals and organizations to support to “Paying debt of gratitude” Fund as well as take care of families of war martyrs. At the same time, local authorities in coordination with the district’s polyclinic hospital provided medical check-ups and treatments to policy beneficiaries in the locality.
On the same day, the Party Committee, the People’s Council and the People’s Committee of Nhon Trach held a get-together to mark the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day. The district’s leaders, representatives from local agencies and departments, Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy families attended the event. On this occasion, the district presented 60 gifts worth VND 500,000 each to policy families in the locality,
