(ĐN)- Southeastern provinces’ study promotion associations gathered in Dong Nai on July 8 to share experiences and information in an effort to promote the movement of study promotion, talent promotion.
During the past six months of this year, the associations in Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Nai provinces and HCM city raised tens of billions of dong to award scholarships to studious poor students, commend and reward excellent students and teachers, provide relief to poor teachers living in the remote areas, etc.
In Dong Nai, the province’s study promotion association mobilized nearly VND6 billion in the first half to honor and help local students and teachers. Particularly, it offered scholarships for students and built public-duty houses for teachers in difficult areas. In the remaining months of this year, the association will continue to call for donations from enterprises to help poor students with high academic achievements.
