(ĐN)- According to information from the province’s Steering Committee for Poverty Reduction Programme, over the first six months of the year, Dong Nai offered preferential loans worth VND35.4 billion to 3,560 difficult households, issued 203,139 free health insurance cards to the poor, provide all or part remission of tuition fees totaling VND4.5 billion to poor students across the province. The province also spent VND7.2 billion to build 351 charitable houses, offer legal assistance for 850 local people.
In the remaining months of this year, the province will focus on building infrastructure for poor communes and remote areas, providing vocational training to rural laborers.
