(ĐN)- On July 3, Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with HCM city Ophthalmology Association provided free eye surgeries to 32 poor cataract patients living in the district.
The surgery costs, at nearly VND50 million, were funded by HCM city Ophthalmology Association.
From the beginning of this year until now, the chapter coordinated with the Ophthalmology Association to offer free eye operations to 98 poor cataract sufferers worth a total of approximately VND150 million.
