With the donations, the town’s Front Fatherland Committee built and handed over 39 charity houses worth around VND493 million for local poor households.
Besides, the committee cooperated with related agencies to provide free medical check-ups and medicine to more than 2,000 poor beneficiaries, award 248 scholarships to studious poor students, etc.
