Accordingly, the association mobilized VND980 million from organizations and individuals to honor and help local students and teachers.
With the donations, the association provided scholarships worth VND113 million to 21 students and build three public-duty houses totaling VND300 million for teachers in Dinh Quan, Tan Phu and Vinh Cuu districts.
Part of the money was used to commend and reward 250 excellent students and teachers.
Over the past six months, the study encouragement associations of 11 districts, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city raised more than VND5.3 billion to local study promotion funds.
