(ĐN)- On July 10, more than 150 representatives from the Dong Nai Association of Former Young Volunteers gathered at Vinh An hotel in Dong Nai province to mark the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Volunteer Youth Force Traditional Day (July 15). Chairwoman of the provincial Front Fatherland Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga attended at the event.

Addressing the event, Vice Chairmwoman Huynh Thi Nga praised the great contributions made by generations of young volunteers in the cause of national liberation and construction. She also called on veterans of the Volunteer Youth Force to uphold the the glorious tradition of the Volunteer Youth Force and play an active role in the fight against corruption and negative phenomena in the locality as well as make more efforts to help their comrades overcome difficulties in their lives. She vowed that the provincial government create favorable conditions for the province’s Association of Former Young Volunteers to operate more effectively.
On this occasion, the Association signed a cooperation agreement with the provincial Front Fatherland Committee and the provincial Youth Union to develop its branches across the province.
