(ĐN)- Late last week, Binh Tien Consumer Goods Company (Biti’s) organized a ceremony to award “Take loving care of Vietnamese talents” scholarships for 534 outstanding poor students nationwide.
The honored students are children of employees and workers who are working in the company. In the school year 2009-10, the students have made their best efforts to overcome difficulties to be high academic achievers. On this occasion, Dong Nai’s students received 263 scholarships valued at VND600,000-2,000,000 each.
The scholarship program is organized annually by Biti’s in order to honor and assist poor talented students to overcome difficulties and continue their studies. Over the past five years, the program has granted thousands of scholarships, worth nearly VND10 billion, to outstanding poor students across the country.
