Over the past five years, the Office has made great efforts to fulfil the advisory function for the Provincial People’s Committee.
Apart from carrying out its mission, the office has actively engaged in social and charity activities. It also raised VND177 billion to the provincial Fund for the Poor.
On this occasion, 7 units and 62 individuals were honored and awarded with certificates of merit for their outstanding results in patriotic emulation movements in the 2005-2009 period.
On the same day, Dinh Quan district also organized a conference to honor typical units and individuals who had actively participated in patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2005-2009.
On this occasion, local authorities launched a patriotic emulation movement for the next five-year, with focus on maintaining annual economic growth rate of between 10-11 percent, providing access to clean water for 97 percent of the total population in the district, providing access to electricity for 98% of the population of Dinh Quan as well as encouraging local people to respond to the campaign “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”.
At the conference, 4 collectives and 13 individuals were honored and awarded certificates of merit of the provincial People’s Committee for their achievements in patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2005-2009.
