Over the past five years, the sector has organised a wide variety of cultural activties aiming to serve entertainiment for the people and workers in the enterprises in the province as well as to promote the effective role of culture in the socio-economic development process and correctively handle the interaction between economic and cultural factors. In the 2010-2015 period, the sector plans to present proposals for building theatre, Information and Exhibition Centre, Culture House for Workers, Culture and Sports Centres at the grassroots level … In addition, the sector will promote socialization in all three fields of culture, sports and tourism as well as mobilise domestic and foreign investment resources to develop these fields.
At the conference, 26 collectives and 61 individuals were honored and awarded certificates of merit for their outstanding results in patriotic emulation movements in the 2005-2010 period.
