(ĐN)- Den Gion-Ninh Chu Resort in Phan Rang City, Ninh Thuan Province hosted a get-together for representatives of central and local press agencies from Ho Chi Minh, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ninh Thuan from June 11 – 13 on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21). The event was co-organised by the Vietnam Journalists Association and Tin Nghia Corporation. Also attending at the event were Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association Pham Quoc Toan and Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee Tran Xuan Hoa.
At the meeting, General Director of Tin Nghia Corporation Quach Tan Duc highlighted contributions of central and local press agencies to the promotion of Tin Nghia’s development. He also said that Tin Nghia company is expected to earn VND 1.7 trillion in revenue in the first six months of this year, equal to 38 per cent of the year’s target as well as net a profit of VND 140 billion during the same period, or more than 41 per cent of the year’s target.
On this occasion, journalists along with representaives of Tin Nghia Company took part in charity activites, including presenting charity houses to the poor, offering gifts for 20 poor outstanding students in Ninh Thuan province. In addition, they also helped to clear the beach and participated in the photo contest entittled “A Glimpse of Den Gion – Ninh Thuan”
