(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district’s Office of Agriculture and Rural Development said that they have implemented the survey for drilling of water wells for agricultural use in communes of Xuan Bac, Xuan Hiep, Xuan Truong, Xuan Tam and Xuan Tho. The total cost of drilling 12 water wells is estimated at about VND 100 million which will be funded by the Xuan Loc district People’s Committee. The new drilled wells will meet irrigation needs for nearly 160 hectares of corn, bean plantations and vegetables in the winter – spring 2009-2010.
