Dong Nai Radio and Television celebrates 15th anniversary of broadcasting

(ĐN)- Dong Nai Radio and Television (ĐN-RTV) recently celebrated the 15^th anniversary of broadcasting. Also present at the celebration were Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Chairwoman of the provincial Front Fatherland Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Head of Dong Nai provincial Department of Propaganda and Training Huynh Van Toi and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hynh Thi Nga.

ĐN-RTV made its first broadcast on January 26, 1995.  Over the past 15 years, ĐN-RTV has overcome a lot of difficulties and challenges, made many efforts to broadcast programs to audiences inside and outside the province, improve the quality of broadcasting and increase its broadcasting time. At present, ĐN-RTV has two TV channels: ĐN1 and ĐN2, ĐN2 is broadcast 24 hours a day. ĐN-RTV’s channel 1 is one of the most watched television channels in the country.

At the celebration, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga praised ĐN-RTV for disseminating Party and the State policies and guidelines to the people, thus creating a high consensus in implementing development tasks. She also applauded efforts of ĐN-RTV in improving the quality of broadcast programs to meet the entertainment demands of people from the province, surrounding areas and the country at large.

On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga awarded the Provincial Party Committee’s laudatory writing to ĐN-RTV. In addition, many journalists of ĐN-RTV also received certificates of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communication.
