(ĐN)- According to information from the Dong Nai Health Department, 85 new doctors came to Dong Nai in 2009, the majority of whom are working in Dong Nai General Hospital and Thong Nhat General Hospital. The province has 4.8 doctors per 10,000 residents with total number of doctors of 1,191. So far, 100 per cent of health stations in two districts of Thong Nhat and Nhon Trach have had doctors.
In 2010, the Provincial Health Department is expected to send another 45 doctors to work at the communal health stations where suffer lack of medical personnel.
