(ĐN)- An inspection delegation led by Mr. Tran Minh Thau, member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, had a working session with Long Khanh town’s Party Committee on the implementation of the Party Resolution in 2009.
According to the report from the town’s Party Committee, Long Khanh registered an economic growth rate of 13.3 percent this year, 3.3 percent higher than the set target. Most socio-economic targets were achieved and surpassed.
At the working session, Mr. Tran Minh Thau highly appreciated the town’s efforts to stabilize and develop its economy. He expressed his hope that Long Khanh will continue to promote its strength and potential to maintain sustainable socio-economic growth, focus on education quality, improve living conditions for ethnic people, etc.

* At the Thong Nhat district, other delegation led by Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department, visited and worked with the district’s Party Committee to review the locality’s socio-economic performance in 2009.
In 2009, Thong Nhat fulfilled and surpassed important targets. Particularly, the district achieved an economic growth rate of 9%; state budget collection exceeded the set target by nearly 50%; the annual average income per capita is estimated at over VND9 million; the hunger eradication and poverty reduction programs brought positive results. However, the delegation stressed that some aggressive solutions should be made in coming time to promote agricultural production, reduce the number of poor households and further invest in infrastructure development in the district.
